MEET THE TEAM

Kevin Nethers, MD, FAAD, brings his expertise and dedication to our medical community at Cardinal Dermatology, located at 110 Wellesley Trade Lane, Suite 204, Cary, NC 27519. Born and raised in the sunshine state of Florida, Dr. Nethers developed a passion for dermatology early on due to a personal connection with skin cancer. Many of his family members have dysplastic nevi syndrome, which, combined with sun exposure, has led to numerous melanomas and non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSCs). This personal experience has driven Dr. Nethers to actively participate in melanoma research throughout his career. One of his most significant projects, completed during medical school, is now cited as part of the NCCN treatment guidelines for Melanoma.

Dr. Nethers enjoys the full spectrum of medical and surgical dermatology. He stays up to date on the latest dermatological therapies and currently manages a large group of patients on biologics and other novel therapies for conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, alopecia, and more. He places a strong emphasis on establishing rapport with his patients and takes pride in achieving high patient satisfaction scores and positive reviews.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Nethers finds joy in spending quality time with his loved ones. He and his wife welcomed their first baby, Jack, in October 2023. In his free time, Dr. Nethers enjoys playing golf and remains an avid University of Florida football and basketball fan.
